Hi friends, Angelica here:
I can’t believe I actually get to write this to you today. Back in 2013, Jorge and I closed the doors to Market Street Stamps after 3 whirlwind years.
It was the right thing to do at the time, but I didn’t know how I could not draw stamps anymore! I might’ve moped around the house for a couple of months, until my sweet friend and former Design Team member Jen del Muro called me and asked if I’d illustrate a new coffee set she had an idea for. She’d just started Reverse Confetti, and I jumped at the chance to be a part of anything Jen was doing.
Since that moment, I’ve gone on to design stamps and dies for some of your favorite brands like Lil’ Inker Designs, Winnie & Walter, Catherine Pooler Designs, and Pretty Pink Posh. You may have noticed Nicole making amazing projects with these stamps, and it’s been so fun to see them come to life.
Even though I’ve had a blast creating and consulting with other craft companies, I still felt like something was missing. Over the years, I’ve gotten many requests to bring back Market Street Stamps. People find cards on Pinterest and were frustrated the images were no longer available. I get that, but I knew if we were going to make stamps again that it had to be with the right heart. I had to be ready.
I told Jorge two years ago that I was ready, and after lots of praying, planning, false starts, and drawing, that day has finally arrived. Our first product line is Ready.To.Launch!
