It’s Monday, the laundry from the weekend is scattered across the room, and I’m not sure if there’s any food in fridge. It’s time to get. it. together. A list is needed to keep me on track, but a plain list won’t do. You can revamp your own to do list with this simple DIY.
I started with mini notepads – I made a few extra for mom friends. Everyone could benefit from some color and cuteness in their daily chores.
Simple Stories’ Domestic Bliss collection was used to transform the plain notepad. To create a cover, I adhered about five sheets together. A sticker tab was added to make it easier to lift the cover to the top page. It really couldn’t have been easier. In fact, it was the fastest completed task of the day. I sprinkled a few stickers on random pages as well.
We would need to search far and wide to find a project I’ve created without foam squares. I love dimension. If you’re the same, I have a great trick for adding height to stickers.
TECHNIQUE TIME | To add dimension to stickers, place foam squares to the sticky back. Use a powder tool to neutralize the sticker by dusting the powder on the back. Watch the stickiness disappear. Now you can take off the backing of the foam squares and adhere to your project.
The only thing left to do is tackle today’s list. Let’s skip to the last item, and call it a good day!
